Mistakes and Moving Forward

Mistakes and Moving Forward

It's not how we make mistakes, but how we correct them that defines us.

Sometimes we don't make the right choices. We do things we arn't proud of. I've made my fair share of mistakes. I've been at the lowest points in my life. I got extremely depressed and felt horrible about myself. I let others tear me down and almost break me. Instead of focusing on others and what they were saying I decided that I need to focus on myself, my husband, my kids, and my friends. The people who truly matter and are ALWAYS there for me and love me no matter what.

Going through tough times has really shown me who my friends are and who really matters to me. I can't even begin to explain how amazing my husband and friends are I seriously don't know what I did to deserve any of you!!! Don't let your past define who you are or who you want to be, and don't let others opinions of you get to you because they don't know you or your heart!

I have worked so hard to get past mistakes and to grow. That's all you really can do if you arnt growing and your dwelling in those moments, and you are so much more than those moments.  Im at such a better point in my life and it's taught me to not care what others think of me.

I have never been a person to have regrets and while now I would make different choices. I'm still not sure if I would say I regret somethings. They have made me who I am and have shown me things I wouldn't have seen if I wouldn't have made those mistakes.

I honestly have NO IDEA how I got so lucky to have so many people who have lifted me up in those dark times and loved me, even when I hated myself.
